The Orange Committee has received further advice today from the Zone Coordinator:
Hi all Centres competing at Zone
Due to the spasmodic state of the Weather, please advise all your members going that the program will run out of order to accommodate the conditions.
Also should an event/s be deemed to be unsafe we will hold them up to a later time OR rescedule the affected event/s to SUNDAY, as Sunday's program is lighter and the rain is predicted to have cleared.

This means to be certain of competing in your events athletes needs to be at Payten Park Narromine ready for first call at 8.00am on the day your event is scheduled.
Nov 03 2017Programme 4 today, new handbook and zone 17 update
In this issue....
Programme 4 today with parents of u9 required for set up( from about 5pm), finish line placing and pack up. First events will start at 5.45pm after warm up at 5.30pm. We will make sure Programme 2 scheduled next week before Zone. Can all age managers call into the shed and collect folders before 5.40pm, thank you with out your help our athletes would not be able to compete.
All athletes need to have the correct patches, age group and rego number, on their uniform before next weeks competition. Click here for uniform info.
All athletes competing at Zone need to come to the red shed to collect their Coles Patch. Coles is the new sponsor and this patch needs to be sown on your shirt before zone. For returning athletes this will replace the Jetstar patch.
Zone Nominations have been finalised and will be posted shortly for athletes and parents to check.
Training at Warratah's will be on Monday's for u8 and older age groups between 5.30-6.30pm.
There is a parent handbook posted on the home page of the website, please take a look there is a lot of information about our centre and how it runs, as well as info for competing in Little Athletics.

Nov 03 2016Week 4 Competition and important note for Zone Carnival
In this issue....
For athletes attending the zone carnival in Bathurst please read the important information on this form. This includes information about uniform, shoes and how the competition runs.
We are into our fourth week of competition and thank you to all our athletes and parents for their co-operation and assistance. Without your help it is not possible for Little Athletics to run smoothly, please continue to support your age manager and assist with measuring and marshalling our athletes through the competition.
This week it is Programme 3 and there will be a group warm up starting at 5.35pm on the oval and the competition will start at 5.45pm.
For the age groups 10 years and older have early events this week:
- 10-11 years - 1100m walk;
- 12 years - 1500m walk;
- 13years and up - either 1500m walk or 3000m Run
The early events will start at 5.00pm and please be at the oval by 5pm if you would like to compete in the early events.
For the safety of all our athletes Spectators and siblings are reminded that there are no ball games in the centre of the track or near the athletes.
Finally to allow preparation for the zone carnival there will be no competition on Fri 11 November and to allow adequate recovery there will be no training on Monday 14 November.
Oct 26 2016Week 3 Little Athletics & LAST CHANCE ZONE ENTRIES

Zone Entries are closed! If you have not yet handed in your entries you have until 5pm TODAY to email your child’s entries. The cost is $5 per child and you can pay this Friday at the shed and $5 for a programme.

This week is Programme 2 and u13 Parents are on duty. On duty means assisting with setup and particularly pack up of equipment as well as the BBQ and place judging for track events.
Hopefully registrations have now been finalised and patches collected which will reduce the queues at the shed.
To get our competition started on time there will be a group warm up at 5.40pm on the oval for all athletes. Our competition will start at 5.45pm sharp.
On arrival all athletes are to meet on the oval for warm up. After signing athletes on, we ask all parents to stay at the shed and please listen to the announcements. We have important information every Friday that we need to relay to our families.
We have large groups in our younger age groups with 30 athletes in u8, u9 and u10 boys and girls groups and more than 20 in the u6 and 7's. If you have a child in these events please move with the age group and assist the age manager with measuring, marshalling and at times entertaining waiting groups of children. This will help to move these large groups through the events.
